Haven't visited this location in a long time due to my last visit not being too good. While Parking is still a issue, there is no need to discuss it because there is no room for change. So on to the food. This visit my food was hot and fresh! I had shrimp tacos with charos beans and rice. My dining partner had grilled fish tacos and the same sides, we really enjoyed both. Our server was was very good but we felt a little rushed, but most sone dine for the experience they just stuff there face. I like to dine; And enjoy my meal so I relax and enjoy my meal and consider it part of my entertainment. The manager made his friendly rounds and all was well. Before leaving I visited the facilities; which got a 0 star from my last visit. Everything was repaired and in order as far a the facility is concerned but I am surprised that the Residents of Peachtree City would be so filthy and throw paper on the floor and slop soap and water on everything. Perhaps the management needs to check the bathrooms more frequently!

How do you screw up a taco? Our service was very good but I doubt our Mexican server would eat the slop he served me. I had the No. 1 lunch - beef enchilada and taco with rice (side of bean). The meat was dry, crumbly, flavorless ground beef, probably Grade Z. Enchilada sauce was like cheap, generic ketchup. Beans were watery and bland. Just awful. I took two bites and filled up on the good chips and meh salsa. I understand that Mexican food in GA is tailored to the whitebread palate but I seriously could get better food at Taco Bell. What a letdown.

Nothing but sodium overload and fake melted cheese...

Great place to go eat but the one in Fayetteville is my favorite hands down if you don't like the one in PTC I promise you you'll like the one in Fayetteville

Used to be good before they changed locations to hwy 54. The new place is very noisy and the food is no longer up to par......new cook??

Poor service, probably because its new. If anything like others, they will get it inline. Food is always good.

I'd say it was good Mexican food but not great. I find their salsa too bland and their menu limited. It's a great place for families but just an average restaurant so I'm pretty apathetic about the whole thing. My wife and her friends like to go there for dinner when they are out shopping.

Both their PTC and Fayetteville locations are excellent - very fast and efficient service, great food. (Some of those portions are huge!) It really amazes me how consistently fast they bring out your food. Different atmospheres at each location, though. The PTC location is smaller, and everything is closer together, louder, whereas Fayetteville is a more spread out, somewhat more chill space. Neither is bad, some people just may prefer one over the other - or not care at all and just go wherever is closer :)

This is pretty darn good Mexican for a random little spot out Highway 85 south of Atlanta. The ambiance in this location is just what I would create if I were going to open a Mexican restaurant. Now granted, I'm not Mexican, so what do I know. But it's cheery without being to kitschy. The food was delicious. My fiance's chicken fajitas were so way better than what I ordered (don't remember the name of it but it was essentially corn chips with chicken, red sauce, and cheese) but just a few tastes of his was enough to win me over to this place. AND, we had enough left overs from his meal for a whole 'nother meal the next day! Salsa is really spicy so if you aren't into that, order a different dip to go with your copious chips. I recommend it!

La Hacienda is a nice place to go for mexican food. The service is good and the food is ok. That being said, it isn't the greatest. The ingredients aren't fresh and the selection is a big generic. I must confess that I lived in Southern California for a bit and was spoiled rotten by all the authentic local mexican cuisine. So, if you are in PTC and have a hankerin' for mexican food, you can satisfy your cravings here and wash it down with a cold cerveza

I've eaten at this particular La Hacienda a handful of times and it's not bad for a casual local joint. It's relatively family friendly without being overly kid-centered. The decor is festive and genuine, although the image carved above one of the booths I think depicts the legs of Jesus hanging on the cross, which isn't something I usually prefer to look at while I'm eating. Hanging corpse + Food don't really go together. The staff is very friendly, attentive and accommodating and it's not uncommon for the owner to check in on you from time to time to make sure. And oddly, it's not annoying... he checks and disappears with a smile. Very nice people. You can get a decent margarita and they make fresh guacamole at the table for you, which I think could use a little more salt and garlic but that's just me. Totally not a deal breaker, though. Here's the thing with this place. The last two times I dined here I was immediately overwhelmed by a strong odor when first entering. Like a wet dog, a stale mop or some kind of mold damage that's been chemically treated by Stanley Steamer and didn't quite work. It's overpowering at first and fades as you sit there but it's pretty foul. Secondly, the food... its' "OK". I don't love it and I don't hate it. However I won't be ordering my usual choice at Mexican joints, the Chicken Quesadilla. I've eaten many in my day and this one just doesn't cut it. There is way to much shredded chicken which makes the tortilla wet and soggy, and if there is cheese on this its overpowered by the chicken. It's tastes OK, but it's not a quesadilla if you ask me. I'd stick with burritos at this place. It pains me to critique them this way because I do generally like the establishment, they just need to address that smell and I can deal with the weak quesadilla.

Love the fire roasted salsa...the best! Food was great...but it is very loud, hard to carry on a conversation. Good food for a decent price.

I am not a fan of Mexican food but this place was OK. The ambiance was fair; nothing really spectacular but it was decent. The service was a little slow but I'm pretty certain that my waitress was new because she seemed a little frazzled at times. The food was pretty good. I took my little sister out for dinner and she ordered chicken quesadillas and I had the big burrito. Both were very large servings. We traded half of each plate. I definitely am not a fan of the quesadillas but the burrito was really delicious. The chicken was flavorful an a little on the dry side. Its a mediocre place to stop in and have a bite to eat

Just ate at the newest Hacienda near Home Depot. It was awful. The chips were greasy--just plain greasy. We asked for another basket--same greasy chips. The meals we ordered weren't up to par either. One meal was cold and the other was pretty greasy too. Tableware had to be sent back because food was still caked on it. Skip this place. Their original restaurant was always good. This one will be closed soon.

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
